Our Philosophy

Our daycare has a strong child development emphasis wide range of research. The classroom is divided into Learning Centers such as language, math, science, lock, computers, music, art, sensory tables gross motor play and dramatic play. The building of language, social, physical, and cognitive skills is achieved through participation
in these centers.

We encourage children to express their emotions by openly accepting and acknowledging them. We recognize that children need confident, empathetic teachers and clear boundaries, but not shaming, distractions, punishments or time out. We allow children to problem-solve and experience and learn from age-appropriate conflicts with our support. We understand the power of our modeling and recognize that our children are learning from us through our every word and action about love, relationships, empathy, generosity, gratitude, patience, tolerance, kindness, honesty and respect.

We know from Child Development research that children construct knowledge through Hands-On experiences. Our program provides materials and equipment appropriate to the children’s development levels. Our daily schedule provides appropriate time for learning including and outdoor program. Which we consider an extension of the classroom.
